Client-Side Project Management
I served as the Client-Side Project Manager on the in-house Built Environments team at Rivian, the electric vehicle company. This role gave me a firsthand understanding of the client mindset and the complex inner workings of an international brand building a cohesive identity across marketing, products, and branded environments. It also expanded my understanding of the importance of organization and communication.
With so many teams working on separate pieces of the same puzzle, cross-functional collaboration becomes absolutely crucial. Acting as the connector between the design, facilities, procurement, finance, and standards teams, I worked to ensure that each workplace, retail, and production facility project was delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with the design intent.
Highlights from my time at Rivian:
✓ Managed delivery of multi-site workplace, retail, and production facility FF&E, coordinating scope, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation.
✓ Led cross-functional program execution across seven internal teams including Finance, Procurement, Facilities, and Standards, and nine third-party contractors, driving shared alignment on delivery targets.
✓ Translated stakeholder requirements into executable roadmaps with defined KPIs and success metrics.
✓ Led vendor onboarding and management for furniture dealers, custom fabricators, and styling kit and planting suppliers with standardized documentation and approval workflows, reducing average onboarding time from 2 weeks to 1 week.
✓ Enabled streamlined procurement for phased rollout across 20+ retail locations by coordinating with specialty partners to update pricing structures and product catalogs.
✓ Managed company-wide workplace standards updates, reducing supply chain risk and improving cost predictability through centralized sourcing strategies.
✓ Partnered with Procurement and Finance to optimize Coupa purchase order workflows, reducing processing time by 25% and improving payment accuracy.
✓ Developed new file organization and project documentation systems to improve visibility, coordination, and efficiency across active projects.
