How I Work

I work as a fractional remote operations manager. Here’s what that looks like in practice.

Remote

I work remotely and asynchronously, connecting via email and whichever video call and messaging platforms you already use. We schedule check-ins that work with your availability, and I provide regular written updates to keep you informed of progress, blockers, and next steps.

Fractional

I work part time with multiple clients instead of full time with one studio, typically 2-3 clients at a time based on the hours each engagement requires. I am intentional about my capacity so every client gets the attention they deserve.

Operations

I manage the behind-the-scenes work that keeps studios running and gives the team more time to design. My focus is entirely on the business and operational side of the studio, not the design work itself.

1099

I work on a 1099 independent contractor basis, meaning no payroll, no benefits, and no overhead associated with a full-time hire. I invoice you for a monthly retainer, handle my own taxes, and we structure the engagement around what your studio actually needs.

Pricing

All engagements are structured as monthly retainers tied to a weekly hours commitment, with additional hours billed at a flat hourly rate. Retainer pricing is outlined in a written proposal following an initial conversation.
